Prepare
Shave the area and ensure your skin is clean, completely dry and free from oils, moisturisers and deodorant.
Patch test
Start at the lowest intensity and complete a patch test at least 24 hours before treating the full area.
Treat
Place the treatment window flat against your skin and work systematically across the approved treatment area.
Maintain
Follow your initial treatment schedule before moving to occasional maintenance treatments when required.

Only use Silk on treatment areas approved in the instruction manual. Never use the handset around the eyes, over tattoos, on intimate internal areas or on damaged skin.

What is IPL?

When will I notice results?

Does Silk hurt?
Sensation varies between users. Some people describe IPL as a brief feeling of warmth or a light snap. Begin at the lowest setting and stop if you experience pain or an unexpected skin reaction.
Can everyone use Silk?
No. IPL is not appropriate for every skin tone, hair colour, medication or health condition. Do not use Silk during pregnancy and seek medical advice when uncertain about your suitability.
